 School's Library Quiz

Potters Green Win Again!

Potters Green School won the library quiz for the second year running.
On Tuesday 10th March 2009 a team of four, two reserves plus supporters travelled to St. Mary's Guildhall to defend their title.
To get to the final we had to win our heat, which was held at Bell Green Library.

The final consisted of Potters Green, Courthouse Green and Foleshill schools.
We had to read three different books and answer a round of questions on each book. The final round was a general knowledge round.

We felt nervous at the start but soon settled after winning the first round. The team managed to stay in the lead all the way through the competition and we won by a clear six points.

It was a close fought competition but Potters Green found them selves in the lead from the beginning. Children from years 4, 5 and 6 took part. Although we didn't win many races we got lots of 2nd and 3rd places which gave us 207 points making us the winners by 20 points.
